The Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Niigata visited UNP

On July 27, 2026, Consul General Lim Seung-cheol of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Niigata visited President Wakasugi.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the further development of academic exchange between UNP and universities in Korea, as well as through the International Conference of the International Network for Korean Language and Culture hosted by UNP. They also exchanged views in a friendly atmosphere on potential collaboration in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and regional revitalization.
