Opening Ceremony of the UNP Mongolia Office Held

On August 21, the Opening Ceremony of the University of Niigata Prefecture (UNP) Mongolia Office was held at the Mongolia–Japan Center for Human Resources Development in Ulaanbaatar.

Following the addresses by President Ryuhei Wakasugi of UNP and Mr. Davaadorj Tsenddavaa, Director of the Mongolia–Japan Center for Human Resources Development, congratulatory remarks were kindly delivered by H.E. Mr. Masaru Igawahara, Ambassador of Japan to Mongolia, Mr. Hideyo Hanazumi, Governor of Niigata Prefecture, and Prof. Dr. Ochirkhuyag Bayanjargal, Rector of the National University of Mongolia.

The UNP Mongolia Office, established in 2025 within the Center, serves as a hub for academic and educational exchange between Mongolia and UNP. By providing information on studying at UNP, promoting collaborative research, and supporting industry–academia partnerships, the Office aims to further enhance academic and cultural exchange between the two countries.
